US Election: Following the Data.

Three New Polls Tell the Story of Biden’s 2024 Campaign:

1. The Times of London reveals Trump leads Biden in seven states where voters were surveyed and November’s election is expected to be won or lost: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The polling by YouGov, taken before any potential bounce from the Trump rally shooting, showed the former president’s lead had increased across the seven swing states since March.

2. Biden is locked in a tight race with Trump in Pennsylvania, a state that Biden barely won in 2020 and that is critical to his re-election hopes, and in Virginia, a state where Biden defeated Trump by 10 percentage points in 2020, according to the latest New York Times/Siena College polls. By almost any Electoral College map calculation, it would be nearly impossible for Biden to win re-election without Pennsylvania.3. Nearly half of American voters believe they will be better off if Donald Trump wins the presidential election according to the latest survey conducted for the Financial Times and the University of Michigan.Click here to read the full July 16 edition of the Daily Read.
